Sarah Allen plays Aidan's lover Rebecca, a fledgling vampire, on Syfy Channel's Being Human.

Biography[]

Sarah Allen is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Dr. Jenny Langford in the medical drama series Jozi-H.

Born and raised in Nelson, British Columbia, Allen studied acting at Canada's National Theatre School and graduated in 2002. She made her television debut in 2003 in the made-for-TV movie Student Seduction, where she played Jenna.

She made her French TV acting debut in the same year and played Carrie in the made-for-TV movie Le Mur de Secrets (Wall Of Secrets), a mystery/thriller about a young couple who move into a new apartment and discover they're being watched by a stranger. She followed this up by playing the eponymous lead role of Mary Shelley in Bravo's made-for-TV 2004 movie about the classic author. In 2004 she also starred in the French language mini-series Il Duce Canadese.

In 2005 she played Ludmilla in Human Trafficking, a mini-series about the sex trade and in 2006 she made her big screen debut in the Canadian family drama Booky Makes Her Mark.

In 2006 she was cast as Dr. Jenny Langford, a Canadian doctor on exchange at Johannesburg Metropolitian Hospital in the Canadian/South African television series Jozi-H.

In 2012, she became a recurring character named Anne in The CW hit TV series, Nikita.

In 2017, she became a recurring character named Private HIllman in the Syfy series, The Expanse.

Allen's theatre credits include roles in Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale, Metropolis Noir, Not Quite the Same and Powers and Gloria.
