Crumb directly falls in love with Alex when he sees her, however Alex doesn't return his feelings. Crumb still tries to be good for her, hoping that one day she will like him to. He stops killing and faces the people that he has killed even though it hurts him very much. Finally he goes on a date with Alex. Crumb thinks Alex likes him but discovers that Alex only agreed to have dinner in order to prove a point to Hal. When Crumb realises that Alex prefers Hal over him he can't controll his feelings anymore. He is stopped by Hal and commits suicide by drinking werewolf blood.
